A Rug Guide: My Favorite Rugs
A Rug Guide: My Top Recommended Rugs
You all know my love for a good rug runs deep. Rugs are one of the best ways to introduce color, texture and pattern to your home. But choosing the perfect rug for your space can be a daunting task. When designing a room, the rug is one of the first things I choose. It’s often the starting point for my designs, and the rest falls into place. I am going to share a few of my favorite, can’t miss rugs with you today.
Beige Vanni Checkered Fringed - First let’s start with this gorgeous Diamond Print rug in our entry. The colors in this rug are brown, ivory, and blue. I love how the blue in this rug gives it a worn/vintage look, yet it’s so affordable. This rug is super low pile so it’s easy to vacuum and clean. But it is also very soft. I have used it in our entry, and also in our dining room. It has worked well in both spaces. This rug also coordinates with so many of my favorite rugs below. Amber Lewis x Loloi Morgan Collection MOG-02 Navy /Sand - The second rug I would like to share is shown below in our Primary bedroom. This rug is primarily a dark inky almost blue/black, creams, beiges, and ivories. I think it’s the perfect neutral and works so well everywhere. I have used it in our bedroom, and our entry in the Gatsby. The pile on this is very “cloud” like and so cozy to walk on. A must-have. Coordinates perfectly with the Vanni Checkered rug too.
Amber Lewis x Loloi Morgan Sunset / Ink - This one may win the award for my favorite of the bunch. It’s shown here as a runner in front of the black cabinet, but I have also used it in our living room, and bedroom in Canada. It is primarily ivory, gold, rust, and a tiny bit of inky blue. Another rug I would label as neutral, and very universally flattering. It is another “cloud” like pile rug and one our family loves.
Billie Performance Tobacco/Rust Rug - This best-selling rug for a reason is a favorite! It comes in an extra large size that a lot of the other Loloi Rugs don’t which I love. It is a VERY neutral rug and has colors of dark green, rust, brown, and some black. It is a thinner pile, and very life-friendly. Stands up to kids and pets so well. I love to layer this rug, with my favorite jute rug below and they’re both currently in my living room.
Natural Jute Braided Area Rug - I love this rug so much that I bought it twice. I have it in the living rooms of both our homes. I love to use this to add another texture to the space and layer my favorite patterned rug on top. It doesn’t shed, or stink like a lot of jute rugs do either—a winner for so many reasons. Hopefully, this will help you to choose the perfect rug for your home! If you have any questions about any of these drop them in the comments below, and thanks so much for listening to me ranting and raving about good rugs!!
