This Week at The Ryan Haus: October 2023 Week One
Hey! I hope you have had a good week. I had fun creating some new content this week. I am going to start sharing more recipes, DIYs, tips and tricks, as well as fun styling sessions with me. Creating content and beautiful spaces is what I love most, and I need to remind myself to quit worrying about the “likes, comments, engagement, etc”. Building a community, and trust with my followers, is what’s most important and that is what I am going to focus on.
The recipe I shared this week was a big hit. I’m not normally an apple pie fan, but these Caramel Apple Donuts made with puff pastry were right up my alley, and everyone in my family loved them. They were super easy to make, and so delicious. Would be a great addition to any Fall party, or even your Thanksgiving table. You can see the recipe here!
This weekend the kids and I are headed to Viking Alberta. Zane has another showcase this weekend. His team is doing so well, (undefeated) and it has been so awesome watching him grow. Probably my favorite thing about this season of hockey so far though has been how excited August is to go. She has a great group of friends and absolutely loves tagging along. It makes my mama heart so happy. Thankful for that.
Derek has one more exhibition game, and then his real season starts next week. We can’t wait to cheer him on as well. Excited to see the Oilers back in action soon. They are playing an outdoor game this year against the Flames, their rival. It is at the end of this month, and we are having custom hats/jackets made. It will be so much fun! Derek’s dad is also coming up for the game, so it will be great to have his family visit us this early in the season.
My projects are in full swing over here. Got almost everything ordered for the kitchen, and waiting on the wallpaper for the powder room. It is going to be so fun to take you along on all these fun projects. Two spaces I have wanted to makeover since we moved in!
Have a great weekend and Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!
xoxo, Bonnie
