Zane's Edmonton Bedroom: Warm, Moody, & Adventure Inspired

If you know Zane, you know it is not just hockey he is into. The last couple years he has been majorly into snowboarding too. If fact it was the number one thing on his Christmas wishlist this year, a new snowboard. He loves anything outside, doing all the things so we were happy to get him one.

I’ve been wanting to do a little refresh in his room and this was the perfect excuse. Make it a little more fun, and incorporate some things he loves too. He never really loved the art I had chosen before, so we decided to start there for his room refresh. These new prints are a little more fun, a lot more boy and he loves them. His favorite is the Sweden one, his words “ this is my favorite cause we used to live in Sweden”. I loved that. We got the frames and these fun prints from Opposite Wall and you can shop them here.

We also added a new rug, I saw this rust plaid rug from RUGS USA, and knew it was perfect for Zane’s room. It matches his duvet perfectly and it is just the perfect compliment for the ski/outdoorsy vibe we are going for.

He loves his room refresh and I do too. I love that it is a little more fun now, and it brings him joy. That is what it’s all about anyways right? Our homes should be a reflection of ourselves, and that includes all members of our family. Something I am going to be better about sharing this year.
