I absolutely love a layered bed, but it is definitely harder to achieve in the summer! My best-kept secret is linen. It is naturally cooling, and perfect for the warmer months. I recently got this Stonewashed Linen bedding set from the Citizenry and it is absolutely amazing. It is so soft, cozy, and just the right weight for summer. I am using this insert in the duvet, and it is a perfect weight. Not too warm and a perfect summer layer.

When adding layers to my bed in the summer, I always add a Kantha quilt, they’re also very lightweight. But what I love the most about Kantha quilts is the gorgeous pop of pattern. Kantha quilts are handmade, and I just love supporting artisans too. This one is so beautiful and so well made!

To finish off my bed, I love adding a chunky knit throw. Adds texture, visual interest, and coziness, and it’s also easy to grab for a movie or to curl up with a good book! This new one from Studio McGee is perfect for all of the above.
