Our Edmonton Home: Paint Colors

Our Edmonton home paint colors

This is long overdue, but something that definitely needed a permanent spot here on the blog. Our home in Edmonton has so many beautiful paint colors, and I am excited to share those with you today. When selecting a paint color for the majority of the home, we wanted something warm, but bright and beautiful too. A perfect timeless white. We found Dove Wing by Benjamin Moore and couldn’t be happier. It’s soft, warm, neutral, and the perfect color for our home. Our home faces south, so it gets the most gorgeous natural light all day. Something you definitely want to consider when choosing paint colors. Here are a few more tips for selecting the perfect paint color for your home.

My biggest piece of advice is to TEST TEST TEST. What looks good in my home can & most likely will look completely different in yours. I always grab multiple different paint samples and paint them right on the wall. You won’t get a true read of the color if you paint a poster board etc. After testing on the wall, come back to the swatch at different times throughout the day to make sure it’s just right. Also, turn on any overhead lighting to be sure you’re happy with it at night under artificial lighting.

Below is a list of the paint colors in our Edmonton Home as well, as the sheen that was used. Be sure to scroll through the photos below to see the paint colors throughout our home.
